My Story

I was living in Italy away from teaching and with a toddler. My good friend sent " Animal Boogie" . What a book!. I loved the illustrations and the characters. The best thing was my son saying, "Look there's a boy like me!". ... I was so glad my friend sent it for me ..." A taste of England" she told me and now I'm in the US it still feels like that.

Hi, I'm Melitsa and I sell Barefoot books.

I'm a Military wife, former teacher now stay at home mum to two smiley active boys- both under 5.

"Animal Boogie" with its educational activities and music CD really gets my kids moving and shaking and the illustrations really pull them into the book.
